چکیده

This study was carried out to evaluate the in vitro antioxidant activity and chemical composition of essential oils organic extracts Moroccan Tetraclinis articulata cones (Khemisset region). The GC–MS analysis identified a total 23 volatile components. major constituents oil were ?-pinene (18.33%), cis-verbenone (10.02%), L-pinocarveol (8. 32%). For phytosterols hexane extract, ?-sitosterol constitutes majority with percentage 77.74%. amount phenolic flavonoid contents high methanol extract (78.54±2.8 mg GAE / g 41.11± 4.5 QE/g, respectively) Antioxidant capacity determined by DPPH method showed strongest radical scavenging exhibition (IC50=0.038±0.006 mg/mL). results indicated that T. contains bioactive compounds which are responsible for its activity. Therefore, this plant could be potential candidates preparation natural drug or an additive preparation.
